Function Description：
Siemens Profinet Gateway PFN1024-ARM (3 Ethernet port, 4 RS485 serial port, dynamically supports 1024 points). It supports the collection and forwarding of over 500 protocols to Profinet protocol.
The gateway is configured using X2Profinet software. The "X" in X2Profinet stands for various acquisition-end protocols, "2" is the homophonic of "To" indicating conversion, and "Profinet" represents the final support for the standard Profinet protocol.
Users can configure based on the communication protocols of on-site devices, and finally convert them into the Siemens Profinet standard protocol. After successful simulation operation on the PC end, it is uploaded to the hardware protocol conversion gateway.
Application Field：
The hardware gateway PFN1024-ARM supports multiple protocol conversions, acting as a communication bridge that converts other non-standard communication protocols into the Siemens Profinet standard communication protocol. This enables Siemens S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500 and other PLCs to communicate with different devices from third parties through the gateway.
