How to use this legacy BACnet diagram

This page preserves an early building-integration illustration. The original notes mention two RS485 ports, one RJ45 port and browser-based configuration. They do not identify a current gateway model, its BACnet role or capacity, and do not provide project acceptance results.

For a new project, use the diagram as a connection concept. Confirm the field-device protocol, point list, physical interfaces and host-system communication role before selecting a current model.

  1. Check the exact model and hardware revision, matching manual, wiring and network plan.
  2. Establish communication with one device, then verify point addresses, data types, byte order, units and scaling.
  3. Confirm the required BACnet variant and compatible roles. Read a few verified points from the host system before expanding the configuration.

These are general selection and commissioning steps, not a report of what was implemented in the original project. See the connection guide and commissioning sequence, or review current models.
