WriteToTag(szTagName, szValue) assigns a number or calculated script value to an existing internal or external tag. The manual states that it performs a device write operation. Example: WriteToTag("Simulator.Channel_1.Device_1.Target", 100);. For batch writing, supply tag-name and corresponding value arrays.
The group-control example explains that Change mode transfers values when the master tag changes, allowing later individual operation. Cyclic mode continually copies the master value to individual tags and can overwrite an individual command at the next cycle. Check execution modes and every write source before designing group/individual control selection. This example does not establish automatic conflict arbitration or unchanged-value write suppression.
