Building automation and metering

  • BACnet gateways: BAC1002-ARM has 1 Ethernet port and 2 RS485 ports, with BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP and OPC UA forwarding. For BACnet/SC, see BAC2004-ARM-SC.
  • Modbus gateways: MOD1002-ARM supports Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU and OPC UA forwarding to connect field devices with supervisory systems.
  • Meter acquisition: BAC1002-MBus serves MBus and DL/T645 meter applications. Documents cover different hardware versions under this model name, so check the appropriate power supply and interfaces. MBus is an acquisition protocol; support for the protocol and a physical two-wire MBus port are separate specifications.

Web HMI and touch panels

  • Web HMI gateways: HMI1002-ARM works with the X2View configuration editor for data acquisition and visual monitoring, with 1 Ethernet port and 2 RS485 ports. Models such as HMI2004-Scada(RK3568) offer further choices for point capacity, ports and functions.
  • Touch panels: Products such as I7-1031 combine touch operation with web visualization. If a project needs both a screen and DI, DO, AI or AO, select a touch screen and specify the I/O counts in the product finder.

Smart lighting

  • KNX gateways: KNX1002-ARM supports KNX IP and OPC UA forwarding for lighting system integration. Check KNX IP protocol support and physical KNX TP interfaces separately for each model.
  • Lighting control modules: Products such as LCM9800 serve lighting control applications. Select the model by its inputs, outputs and circuit requirements.

Industrial automation, power and data centers

  • PROFINET and S7: PFN1024-ARM supports PROFINET forwarding; PFN1002-ARM supports S7 forwarding. Choose according to the target system protocol.
  • EtherNet/IP: EIP1002-ARM supports EtherNet/IP and OPC UA forwarding.
  • Power communication: IEC1002-ARM supports IEC104, IEC61850 and OPC UA forwarding.
  • Data centers: SNMP1002-ARM supports SNMP and OPC UA forwarding.

DDC controllers and I/O modules

  • DDC controllers: DDC1001-2222 provides 2 DI, 2 DO, 2 AI and 2 AO. Select the controller according to the required field inputs and outputs.
  • I/O modules: Products such as IOM12682 provide field signal inputs and outputs. Check the model documents for channel counts, electrical types and wiring.

Wireless communication and field connections

  • 4G, WiFi and LoRaWAN: See HMI1002-ARM-4G, HMI1002-ARM-WiFi and HMI1002-ARM(LoRaWAN), respectively. Verify wireless features, power supply and optional modules for the selected model.
  • Remote networking and converters: The range also includes the RT5001-WiFi-4G remote networking router and RS232/RS485, USB and MBus connection products. Use the product finder to select by the required field interfaces.

PC software, energy management and commissioning tools

  • OPC software: X2OPC Server and OPC2Modbus provide device data access and software protocol conversion. Select the license method and point tier to suit the project.
  • SCADA and EMS: Local PC software is available for supervisory visualization and energy management. Refer to the relevant product information for software versions, licensing and deployment requirements.
  • Free commissioning tool: BACnetScan supports BACnet device scanning and commissioning. Information on MBus, OPC UA, IEC61850 and other utilities is accessible through Software and tools. File availability and usage terms follow the actual resources published in the selected language.

Choose a model for your project

  1. Select the device-side acquisition protocols and system-side forwarding protocols. Multiple protocols can be selected.
  2. Specify the required Ethernet and serial ports, including RS485, RS232, CAN, KNX TP and two-wire MBus interfaces.
  3. Enter DI, DO, AI and AO counts where needed. Select a touch screen if required, then add power and wireless requirements.
  4. Use the series comparison to check specifications and the correct hardware documents. For initial setup, see the connection and commissioning guide.

This is an overview of the product range. Individual models do not necessarily support every protocol or feature listed here. Confirm protocol roles, device models, point counts, interfaces and site conditions before final selection.
