Product overview
The router supports remote PLC and touchscreen project transfer and remote desktop maintenance through VPN networking. Its separate gateway functions collect documented field protocols and forward the data to supervisory systems; choose the network topology and data mapping as two distinct configuration tasks.
Selection and reading guide
- Plan WAN, LAN and RS485 connections first, then check the acquisition and forwarding directions on page 2. Network connectivity and protocol conversion are separate requirements.
- For remote project maintenance, read the VPN networking description on page 3. Configure device data acquisition separately using the X2View point list.
