How do I select products with I/O or a physical touchscreen?
I/O requirements select DDC products unless a physical touchscreen is requested; touchscreen models must then satisfy the specified I/O counts as well.
Find technical answers by protocol, product and application.

Check the latest owner-confirmed model rules: serial/Ethernet coverage for ARM/A9 and industrial touchscreens, the HMI1002-Lite protocol families, and the Modbus RTU-only HMI1002-Lite-E variants.
Check physical interfaces, protocol support and shared-port arrangements separately, especially native two-wire MBus versus four-wire devices connected through RS485.
Multiple protocols require an AND match. Manual names are kept exactly, and undocumented compatibility is never treated as confirmed support.
X denotes the acquisition-side protocols. Also check forwarding protocols, communication roles, physical interface types and port counts.
