Product overview
Use X2BACnet to configure the meter point list and expose the data to a BACnet supervisory system. The standard-power and DC 24 V documents are kept separate below because their forwarding specifications differ.
Selection and reading guide
- This model describes four-wire MBus devices connected through RS485. Do not treat the MBus name as evidence of a native two-wire MBus port; see page 3 in each edition.
- Check page 2 of the matching power edition: the standard edition lists BACnet/IP and OPC UA; the DC 24 V edition additionally lists BACnet MSTP.

Model designation and meter acquisition
Model designation: 1 Ethernet port and 2 serial ports. The manufacturer confirms meter-oriented acquisition with MBus and DLT645 added to the Lite baseline. The listed acquisition protocols are explicitly documented in both catalog editions; the Lite baseline does not imply every meter driver. Check the matching datasheet for forwarding capabilities and power requirements.
Both serial ports are RS485 (COM1 and COM2). The documented MBus acquisition is for four-wire MBus devices. Do not connect two-wire MBus devices directly to these RS485 ports.
